Decramat: Extra Heavy Duty Entrance Mats

The modular mat-lok Barrier Matting system was designed to combat the heaviest traffic-flow. Its fine, absorbent, electrostatic buffed-nylon fibres facilitate a quick, natural evaporation process when wet and generates an infinite static charge, which attracts dirt like a magnet.

Mat-lok's ribbed aluminium scraper sections loosen caked mud and remove stones caught in shoe treads. This combination ensures the best possible defence against grit abrasion and slipping inside buildings. All mat-lok products are heel proof and skid resistant.

SPECIFICATION: Mat-lok Reversible, heelproof, 18mm gauge, closed construction barrier mat, consisting of grey (colour) electrostatic buffed-nylon rubber insert, fixed into extruded mill finish (colour) anodised, aluminium scraper channels together with recess frame AMF31/31 to be screeded in (elsewhere measured), as supplied by Decramat.

EXTERNAL CONDITIONS: Where weather patterns indicate excessive rainfall and enclosed wind lobbies are not planned, it is best to use a combination of mat-lok plain rubber scraper mats on the outside to combat mud and mat-lok buffed-nylon on the inside of entrance ways to dry off feet.

mat-lok Scraper Mats - Excellent fo Exposed areas. Scraper mats have plain rubber inserts and are normally used in conjunction with their buffed-nylon Barrier mat equivalents on the outside of entrances to take off mud and gum, with the buffed-nylon mats on the inside of entrances to dry off and clean feet.

Used in high volume traffic areas handling wheelchairs or heavy foot and luggage trolleys, such as hospitals, shopping centres, airports, hotels, large factories and office blocks. Impact stresses from heavy trolleys are absorbed by the mat resting on its resilient rubber insert, a shown in the detail above.

mat-lok Reversible is ideally supplied to contractors with is pre-formed aluminium matwell frame AMF31/31 prior to screeding in order to ensure the perfect symmetry required to reverse the mat.

Currency valuations make Decramat pricing extremely competitive. For new buildings, final certified drawings are faxed or emailed to us. We manufacture the frames to drawing dimensions and the mats to fit the frames, which are then packaged in knock-down form for easy assembly by the contractor on site. Where floor screeds are at an advanced stage, we airfreight the frames over to arrive on site within a week.

In existing buildings, accurate recess dimensions must be faxed or emailed through to us. We manufacture accordingly, ship the goods off and upon arrival of the container, send a fitting team to site to do the installation.
